Rules of the competition:   [X]

1. Air Guitarists' guitars must be invisible, i.e. air.
2. Air Guitarists can play electric or acoustic air guitar - or both of them.
3. Contestants must bring their own song on a CD or Minidisc (with exact starting point marked). One-minute clip is allowed. Organisers retain the right to arrange another qualification round ("semi-finals") on Final night if necessary.
4. In the final on Friday, finalists play two one-minute rounds: a) Self-chosen song. Contestants must bring their own song on a CD orMinidisc (with exact starting point marked). One-minute clip is allowed. b) Compulsory, which is the same song for everyone and is tobe announced in the Final.
5. Help from personal air roadies is allowed. Duets or backing bands - air or real - are notallowed.
6. Air guitarist's performance must be a solo performance. Props like plectrums and costumes can be used in a preferredway.
7. The Jury is independent. The results of the jury cannot be protested.
8. Contestants take part in the competition at their own risk.
9. Contestants are able to travel to represent the UK in FInlandon September the 8th.
